Pre-submission checklist
Before you upload.
- File format. Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
- Originality. Not previously published and not under consideration elsewhere.
- Plagiarism limit. Similarity index under 15% (excluding references).
- Abstract & keywords. A 150–250 word abstract and 4 to 6 keywords.
- Ethical approvals. IRB or ethics committee approval and informed consent stated for research on human subjects, patient data, clinical trials, or animals.
- Author details. Full names, affiliations, official emails, and ORCID iDs for all co-authors on the title page.

How to lay it out.
- Title page. Title, authors' full names, affiliations, corresponding author details.
- Abstract & keywords. Purpose, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
- Main text.
- Empirical and scientific studies: IMRAD (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion).
- Medical and nursing clinical papers: Background, Case/Method, Clinical Outcomes, Practice Implications, Conclusion.
- Humanities and social sciences: Introduction, Literature Review, Theoretical Framework, Analysis, Discussion, Conclusion.
- Declarations. Conflicts of interest, funding sources, data availability, acknowledgments.
- References. Formatted in the citation style for your field (below).
